Subscribing to Podcast (Microsoft Zune)

If you are interested in subscribing to The Church Alive Podcast with your Microsoft Zune, I have put together a quick cheatsheet for you that outlines the 3 step process involved, you can download this cheatsheet here.

An Update Regarding Podcasts

I just wanted to post a note regarding our podcasts section.  We spent a large part of the weekend working on the podcasts section and getting a few bugs resolved.  Here’s an update for those of you who have emailed with problems / issues…

• You can now subscribe via iTunes, click here (this updates itself each time a new podcast is added to our website so you can always stay up to date)
• I also posted some articles about subscribing to the podcasts using Zune
• Also, the podcasts will now play normally using Mozilla Firefox.  There are still some issues with the speed in which the podcasts play in Internet Explorer but this isn’t an issue on our end, it’s something to do w/ the way Internet Explorer renders our website.  We have investigated this issue further and Microsoft is aware that this issue has been ongoing and is planning to issue a patch in a future update to windows.  This doesn’t affect all IE users, just a small portion.  My advice is download Mozilla Firefox and use that if you want to listen to our podcasts online while Microsoft prepares their fix for this issue.

By now you already have noticed that we have a brand-new website!  We have taken a lot of input and ideas and put them together to bring you the website you are looking at right now.  We hope that you will enjoy this new website and find it more interactive as well as user-friendly.  Just a couple of notes I wanted to make mention of…

• If you should have any questions regarding the website, please feel free to drop me an email to: webmaster@thechurchalive.org and I will be glad to help you out.
• If you experience any issues listening to the Podcasts or Sermon Audio on the site using Internet Explorer, try using Mozilla as your web browser, there are some components of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Web Browser that are problematic for streaming audio online and we have found that Mozilla’s browser is much better!  To download this FREE Browser, click on the link below:

  

Note Regarding Podcasts!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are aware of the podcasting issue on the website regarding downloads. We are looking into the issue and will hopefully have it resolved shortly. In the meantime you can listen to the podcasts online using Mozilla Firefox browser just fine. Sorry for the inconvenience, we are working to resolve the issue as fast as possible.
